In this brief blog, let me show you how to calculate cubic yards.
For starters we have a basic math formula;
Length (in feet) X Width (in feet) X Depth (in feet) divided by 27 (one cubic yard)
Examples;
10′ x 10′ x 1′ (12 inches) = 100 divided by 27 = 3.70 cubic yards
10′ x 10′ x .5 (6 inches) = 50 divided by 27 = 1.85 cubic yards
20′ x 25′ x 1.5′ (18 inches) = 750 divided by 27 = 27.77 cubic yards
